ICT Community Fair 2008

Limerick City Council participates at the first Limerick Technology Fair which takes  take place Saturday, November 1st 2008, in the new state of the art Thomond Park Conference Centre from 11-4pm.  Featuring 50 jargon-free interactive displays the participants will show how simple new technologies are to use, how they can save you time and money and be fun. 

A range of workshops will take place during the day.  There is something of interest for everyone and the odd prise or two to be won so get there early

  • Digital Cre8or- workshops every half hour on creating your own ringtones, i-comic and much more.
  • Adobe & Big Wave Media Training-CS4 new release - & Photoshop in detail - 12-12.30,2.00-3.30
  • Sony—Learn to use ‘LittleBigPlanet’  the brand new Sony Game- 11.30-1.30 and 2-4pm
  • Relationship Management Technology 11.30-12.00 - Enclude- & Open Source Technology - 2.30-3.00pm

Come Early as places on workshops are limited!


Get your photo taken with the Heineken Cup and be the first people to visit the Munster Rugby Interactive Museum.

Admission is FREE and there will be lots of PRIZES and SPECIAL ATTRACTIONs on the day and maybe even some SURPRISE guests.

Bring along the family there is guaranteed to be something there for everyone.

This Fair is organised by the ICT Steering Group a network of community and education providers in Limerick. 

It is purely a not for profit event.
